My name is Clemens Fiedler and I’ve been backpacking through the wilderness of the polar regions since 2019. During my backpacking trips, I capture the unique, rough, and wild natural landscapes through photography and videography. I particularly focus on the world of ice and glaciers, as they have fascinated me since childhood. It often takes several days to hike to remote glaciers that I’ve chosen as my destinations. The adventure begins as soon as you enter the wilderness!

Into Nature
I hike alone to a wide variety of glaciers in Scandinavia and Greenland. I spend many days and weeks in the wilderness to reach the special glacier regions and document the dynamics of the ice. Equipment, provisions and sleeping equipment are in my backpack, so I can be on my own for a long time. Glacier collapses, their characteristic blue color, and various lighting conditions create unique natural spectacles, which I capture on camera.
